Christmas came to me

For the best viewing experience in reading this blog post, may I present you my beloved Hong Kong artist Jacky Cheung singing "Everyday is Christmas"? The song share the same theme of this blog post. Trust me, this will be the first and best Christmas song you ever listen this year. (Of coz.. It's only June.. It's a little bit early for Christmas. But Christmas just came to me! )

Did I tell you I pick up reading again? Bookmark is the best companion during reading. So I decided to make my own.

When I was wandering in the craft store, I found the lovely reindeer charm. When I bought it, I had no idea what was purpose for me to buy it. The reindeer is so cute and I had to bring it home.

In the evening, I decided to make something. So, I pull out the bookmark I bought and the reindeer. But that is quite dull if my bookmark just has one reindeer. So sad and lonely. I looked over my crafting materials (translation: A pile of stuff ranging from scrape paper to ribbon, from scrape fabric to plastic bottles. ) and found the ribbons I brought last Christmas in the thrift store.

Voila, Christmas came to me just like that!

I may be naive
 But I do believe
That reindeer fly on Christmas Eve :)

Happy Holiday~!

How funny that Cristmas came to you in June ^^ It came to me in May after my hubby started singing those Christmas songs all of a sudden ^.^ Aw, I love Jackie Cheung ^^ Especially 一千個傷心的理由, because I always sing it in karaoke with friends from HK or 大學學姊 ^^ 啊, 香港講師姐, 係嗎?? 呵呵... It's good that you like older generation singers, I do too ^^ xx, darja

Haha, maybe it's never too early for some nice and sweet feelings ^^ I haven't listened to the last album of Jackie though, I will do it later ^^ I know many HK singers, but it would be cool to exchange our favourite songs ^0^ I mostly listen to Taiwan pop, but my favourite singer forever is 梅艷芳... 好多人都講係媽媽嘅音樂... 氣死了... 不過我掛住佢已經真係好耐囉 T.T

Dear nameless you - the scrapbook lover, Welcome to Hong Kong~! I have to admit that I am not that into scrapbooking. But I did a little research on where you can find scrap book supply. Scrapbooking in Hong Kong is a totally new hobby, people are getting interested. So there are two shop that sold scrapbooking materials.

1. PaperArt,
http://www.hkpaperart.com/main.htm
I have been to this shop in Central. Wide range of paper and rubber stamps related goodies. But a little pricey..

2. Pegeo Cafe (not really a cafe)
http://www.pegeocafe.com.hk/
Very little shop filled with supplies on scrapbooking which located in Sham Shui Po. Sham Shui Po is on the Kowloon side and that is not a hot spot for regular tutorist. But, if you are a craft lover, you might want to walk around that area. Sham Shui Po is a craft lovers' heaven. From beads to fabric, from buttons to ribbons, are all centralized in that little area.

Bonus: shop specially for the anonymous you. A little hide and seek game:

This is a little stationery shop located at Lyndhurst Terrace, Central. In front of the shop, you will find a three or four plastic box filled with High Quality Scrap Paper wihch I always find they are good for notes and card making.

So Good Luck! And have a nice trip in Hong Kong. =)
